Whether it’s thin trading or holiday cheer, the stock market’s gains picked up as Christmas Eve trading rolled on.
The Dow was up 100 points, or 0.2%, after opening flat. The S&P 500 was up 0.5%. The Nasdaq Composite was up 0.7%.
Roughly 290 of the S&P 500 stocks were on the rise. The Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF was up 0.2%.
