Dua Lipa and Callum Turner Celebrate Christmas Together
“Home for the holidays,” the pop star, 29, wrote via X on Wednesday, December 25. “Sending you all so much love.”
Lipa uploaded an array of photos of herself dressed in winter gear, cuddling her pet dog and snapping selfies before adding a pic with Turner, 34. In a blurry image, the couple were all smiles in the front seats of a car.
The “Training Season” singer wore a dark-colored coat with an emerald-colored scarf and oversized sunglasses. Turner, for his part, opted for a black coat and a matching beanie.
Lipa and the Masters of the Air star have been together since January.
“Callum is really the first serious relationship she’s had in the past few years,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in March. “Dua and Callum spend almost all their time together and are nearly inseparable.”
According to the insider, Lipa and Turner are “very serious about one another” and had introduced their families to each other
“They have a very balanced energy and Dua couldn’t be happier than she is with Callum,” the source added to Us.
Lipa and Turner have since been staples on her social media pages and enjoyed several public dates. It is Lipa’s first serious relationship since she and Anwar Hadid split in 2021.
Their romance also appeared to inspire Lipa musically. She released Radical Optimism in May featuring lead single “Training Season,” which fans believed was about her relationship with Turner.
“I was like, ‘OK, I’m going to write down what I want,’” Lipa told Elle in May. “The power of manifestation and writing things into existence with the power of words. When you know your worth, you know what you want and what you don’t want.”
She added at the time, “I was talking about this with one of my dancers today because she was going through a breakup — when I was single, I didn’t wish it away. You learn so much about yourself, you know, whether it’s going on a date or spending that time alone. In the silence, you figure out who you really are. In the grand scheme of things, I was doing research.”
Turner, for his part, has another song from Radical Optimism frequently on replay.
“‘Houdini.’ It just keeps getting better,” he gushed to Vanity Fair in March.
According to a YouTube video last month, Lipa wrote “Houdini” about “the act of disappearing when something no longer serves you.”
“The [coronavirus] pandemic happened and we got stuck at home, all I wanted to do was get back into the club and make a record that was solely for dancing,” she explained in her November video. “The whole story was built on the basis of reputation in a dance track that makes it very easily digestible for people who are listening to it. It’s just about getting the groove and letting loose.”
