If you’re after one of the best Android phones around but want something with the flexibility of a foldable, then the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is the way to go. This device can unfold into a sizable screen, but the starting price of $1,900 is hard for most people to swallow. Thankfully, we’ve found a few excellent deals you can use to take a large chunk off that price tag, and they’re all listed below.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a 7.6-inch AMOLED main screen and a 6.3-inch AMOLED cover screen. The upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip gives it super fast processing. The array of cameras matches what we saw in the previous generation, with the Z Fold 6 sporting a 10-megapixel cover camera, a 4-megapixel under-display camera and a rear triple-camera setup, with a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera.

As for storage, you can choose between 256GB, 512GB or 1TB, and each model is equipped with 12GB of RAM and the latest version of the company’s software, known as One UI 6. Also, according to Samsung, you should be able to get the 4,400-mAh battery up to a 50% charge in about half an hour with wired charging. It performed well in our battery drain test: After streaming a YouTube video for three hours at full brightness on the main 7.6-inch screen, the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s battery dropped to 82%, not much less than the nonfolding Galaxy S24 and better than other folding phones.

While there are no proper deals here, if you’ve got an old Samsung, Apple or Google phone to trade in, you can save up to $1,200. In reality, you’ll only get that much if you’re trading in one of the latest, most powerful phones, which isn’t a likely scenario. But you should still get a decent amount back, no matter what you’re trading in.

Best Buy is offering $300 off the Z Fold 6 right now, which drops the starting price down to $1,600 with no strings attached. However, you can save an extra $100 if you opt for same-day activation through AT&T or Verizon. Plus, Best Buy has its own trade-in program where you can score up to $460 in credit. You’ll also get a free month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Best Galaxy Z Fold 6 deals with a carrier

AT&T isn’t offering direct discounts on the Z Fold 6, but there is a pretty generous trade-in deal for those on an unlimited plan. Exchange any old phone valued at just $95 or more and you’ll get a whopping $1,000 discount. And even older and damaged devices valued at $35 or more will still net you $800 in trade-in credit. The savings will be distributed as bill credits over a 36-month period.

You can also add a Galaxy S24 for only $6 per month with the purchase of this device. If that’s not your cup of tea, you can add a Galaxy Tab A9 Plus 5G or a Galaxy Watch 7 40mm for just $1 per month with an eligible plan. You’ll see these savings in the form of bill credits.

T-Mobile is offering a number of ways to snag a Z Fold 6 for less right now. There are some serious trade-in savings available, which vary depending on what service plan you have. An eligible trade-in will net you $1,000 off if you have a Go5G Next plan, $800 off with Go5G Plus, $300 off with Go5G, Magenta or One plans and $200 off for most other voice plans.

If you don’t have an old phone to trade in, there are also discounts for activating a new line of service. You’ll save $800 with a new line on a Go5G Plus or Go5G Next plan, or $600 off if you opt for a Go5G, Magenta or One plan. First responders, military members and people on 55 plans can qualify for additional discounts and perks.

Both new and existing customers can snag the Z Fold 6 for less at Xfinity. Trading in an old phone will net you a $700 discount if you’re an existing customer, or $830 off if you’re adding a new line. Plus, if you’re looking to make the switch from another carrier, Xfinity will give you up to $500 to pay off your current contract.

Those adding a new myPlan line at Verizon can get up to $1,000 off the Z Fold 6 with an eligible trade-in. Verizon accepts phones in any condition, even old and damaged ones, so you may be surprised at what the cracked iPhone in your drawer is worth. Or, if you’re on an Unlimited Plus or Ultimate plan, you can get a free 75-inch Samsung QLED TV with the purchase instead.
