Don’t look now, but the stock market is back to breakeven.
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite were both up slightly on Friday, after trading lower for much of the afternoon. The Dow, which has fallen six days in a row, was down just 28 points, or 0.1%.
Stocks have been aimless for much of the morning. The biggest news was Broadcom’s earnings report, which injected some enthusiasm into artificial intelligence stocks that lifted the iShares Semiconductor ETF up 2.5%.
