These Ultra-Soft $37 Joggers Are Better Than My Pricey Ones

It’s OK to be a loungewear snob. I’m very picky with my leggings, sweatshirts, sweatpants and joggers, especially when it comes to fit and material. Anything too tight or confining is a no-no, as is anything that doesn’t flatter my shape; my loungewear also has to be skin-soft and stretchy. These are my loungewear nonnegotiables, which shouldn’t be too much to ask! Somehow, however, it’s tough to find affordable pieces that check these seemingly simple boxes.

I’m particularly picky with pants. Joggers and sweatpants should be as comfy as no pants at all, if not comfier! The box checkers typically cost over $100, but I found a pair on Amazon that checks all my boxes and more. I finally found a pair of pants — call it a jogger-sweatpant hybrid — that I enjoy as much as my $128 ones!

These joggers are made of a polyester, spandex and Lenzing Modal blend, perfect for lounging and working out alike. The blend is naturally soft, four-way stretchy, moisture-wicking and breathable. It also retains its color, even after endless washes! The material dries quicker than my other lounge and workout wear, too.

Despite being semi-thick, these joggers are shockingly lightweight. They’re ideal for those who want a durable pair of pants that don’t make you sweat. These sweatpant-joggers have two front pockets and elastic cuffs around the ankles that keep them in place. A cord waist design also holds them in place while allowing for a custom-feeling fit. You’ll probably forget you’re even wearing pants, especially with the flatlock stitching that ensures a chafe-free experience!

For an everyday athleisure look, I love wearing these joggers with a cropped zip-up sweatshirt and my favorite white sneakers, but you can also wear them with a tank top, long-sleeve top or hoodie. If you’re a gym gal like me, pairing them with a sports bra and tank top makes for a great workout outfit. (If you exercise by running errands or walking the dog, the same outfit applies!) The high waist makes them ultra-flattering no matter what what you wear them with.

There are a handful of different colors to choose — ranging from classic black to blush pink, olive green, teal and plum red — but I adore the dark carbon hue. It pairs beautifully with black, white and bright colors, giving me a coordinated look at all times. You’ll wear these pants all year round, so I’d recommend choosing something you won’t get sick of!
