The NSE Nifty50 index ended 31.75 points at 24641.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 16.09 points at 81526.14.
Trent Ltd.(up 2.7%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 2.58%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 2.14%), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 1.94%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 1.39%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.36%), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.32%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.31%), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 1.31%) and Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.21%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
